CCTV that tells you when something happens

Recording footage is only part of the job. It is just as important to know when something is happening. We set up detection zones based on how your premises are used, and send alerts to the people who can act on them.

Cameras are powered from TP-Link PoE switches we size for them, so there is no socket needed at each camera and one tidy cabinet runs the lot.

We decide where cameras go by walking around your site, not just looking at a floor plan. Things like evening sun, shadows over a loading bay or trees that will grow into view all affect how well a camera works.

Control who comes in, and see when

With keys, you never really know who has a copy. With access cards, you can see who opened which door and when, and cancel a card as soon as someone leaves the company.

We install fingerprint readers, access cards and fobs, smart locks and intruder alarms as one system. It can be linked to your CCTV, so every door entry comes with the matching footage, and to your HR system if needed.

Four common problems we check for

Each of these is easy to avoid at the start and costly to fix later, so we look for all of them during the site visit.

Storage that runs out

The system is set to keep 30 days of footage, but the disk only holds nine. Nobody notices until you need a recording from three weeks ago.

Alerts going to the wrong person

Alerts still go to someone who left the company long ago. We make sure they reach someone who works there now, and we test them.

Cameras on the office network

Cameras on the same network as your computers can be a way in for attackers. We put them on their own VLAN, and where there is a Palo Alto Networks firewall, we write rules so the cameras can reach the recorder and nothing else.

Old cards that still work

Cards belonging to former staff still open doors months later. We set up access schedules and a simple review process before we hand over.

We are accredited Hikvision installers. We pick the lens and sensor for each spot after walking it, so the camera on the loading bay can read a plate at night and the one at reception is not blinded by the glass door at four in the afternoon. The recorder is sized for how long you need to keep footage, firmware is brought up to date before we leave, and the default passwords are gone. You get the Hik-Connect app set up on the phones of the people who should see it, and nobody else's.

TP-LinkPoE switches for cameras

Every camera is powered over its network cable from a TP-Link PoE switch we size for the full set, with headroom for the ones you will add later, on a VLAN of its own.
