From start to finish
GOLDEN DRAGON TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. was set up in Kuala Lumpur in 2017. We still work the same way today: we help you choose the hardware, supply or lease it, install the cabling it runs on, and look after all of it ourselves.
We started with cabling
Golden Dragon began as a structured cabling company. A lot of network problems come down to poor cabling, and we spent years fixing installations that had never been tested or labelled. That is why we test and document everything we install.
Over time, clients asked us to handle more: the switches, the fiber between buildings, the Wi-Fi, and eventually the laptops, workstations and servers themselves. We took each of these on with our own people instead of sub-contracting, so there is always one company responsible for the work.
Today, most of our work is supplying and leasing business laptops and IT equipment, and installing Cat6 and fiber cabling.
What we know, and what we work with
Nine years and more than a hundred projects leave you with firm opinions. We work with a short list of brands on purpose. We would rather know a few very well than many badly: which models last, which firmware update to wait on, and what to check first when something stops working at 9am on a Monday.

Along with Apple, the brand we supply most. From Latitude laptops for an accounts team to Precision workstations for a design office and PowerEdge servers in the back room, we have set up and supported the whole range, and we know which specification is worth paying for.

Dependable machines that are easy to repair. We have looked after fleets of ThinkPads from delivery day through to the end of the lease, and swapped out enough keyboards and batteries to know what wears first.
AppleMac · iPad
Alongside Dell, the machines we supply most. Macs in a business need more than unboxing, so where you want it we set them up through Apple Business Manager and device management, so the company, not the individual, stays in control of every machine, and a departing employee's laptop can be reset in minutes.
NVIDIARTX workstations · GPU servers
Architects, engineers and video editors do not need the fastest processor so much as the right graphics card, and that is where we spend most of the conversation. We match the RTX card to the software and the size of the models you open, and size GPU servers for rendering and AI work by the job you want to run, not the benchmark chart.
LogitechMeeting rooms · webcams · headsets
The parts people touch all day. We fit out meeting rooms with Logitech video kits that start a call at one tap, and send out headsets, webcams, keyboards and mice with every laptop, so a new starter is not borrowing a charger and a mouse on day one.
PanduitPatch panels · Cat6A · fiber · cable management
What goes inside the walls and the cabinet. We use Panduit patch panels, Cat6A and fiber components and their cable management because they terminate cleanly, test first time and stay tidy when someone adds a point three years later.
TP-LinkOmada switches · Wi-Fi
The network platform we use most, and we have put in a lot of it. We plan Omada switches and access points from a site survey, set up the VLANs and PoE, and manage the whole site from one controller. We know the platform well enough to get it right the first time, and to tell you straight when a site needs something bigger.
Palo Alto NetworksFirewalls · VPN
For clients who cannot afford a breach. We configure the security policies, GlobalProtect VPN for remote staff and site-to-site links between branches, and we document every rule so you know exactly what is allowed through.
HikvisionIP cameras · NVR · access control
We are accredited Hikvision installers, and it shows in the details: cameras placed from a walk of the site, recorders sized for the footage you actually need to keep, and detection set up so the right person gets an alert while something is still happening.
Based in the Klang Valley
We choose to work in and around Kuala Lumpur. Being close to our clients means we can actually come on site when needed, and the same engineers get to know the same offices over the years.
We work with offices, factories, warehouses and larger sites with several buildings. A lease for ten laptops and a full site installation get the same attention from the same team.

A few things we hold ourselves to on every job.
Honest advice, even if it means a smaller sale
If you do not need a higher specification or a bigger order, we will tell you. A smaller job done well is better for you than a bigger one you did not need.
Chosen for the people using it
We look at how your staff actually work, not just what looks good on a spec sheet. Equipment that suits the people using it gets used properly.
We keep our word, or tell you early
When we agree on scope, quality and dates, we stick to them. If something is going to slip, you will hear it from us early enough to do something about it.
Planned with growth in mind
We leave room in the cabling, capacity and hardware for your business to grow, so you are not starting over when you add more staff.
What you get from every installation
Tested, with the results given to you
Test results for every copper run and OTDR traces for fiber. You get the full data, not a summary, so any engineer can check the work later.
Labelled and documented
Every wall socket and patch panel port is labelled, with as-built drawings, so another engineer can trace a fault without having to call us.
Supported by us directly
We do not pass you on to another company. The team that installed it is the team that supports it.
