GOLDEN DRAGON TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD.
IT hardware
We supply business laptops, desktops, workstations and servers, on lease or as an outright purchase. Leases start from 12 months. We also install the Cat6 and fiber cabling your office runs on, so one team looks after both.
We supply and lease the computers your business runs on, and we install the cabling they plug into
We started in 2017 with a simple idea: the people who sell you the equipment should also set it up and look after it. When your laptops come from one supplier, your cabling from another and your support from a third, every problem turns into a discussion about whose job it is. With us, there is one number to call.
Leasing turns a large purchase into a fixed monthly payment, with support included for the whole term. If you would rather buy outright, you get the same setup and the same support.
leasing
Lease or buy
We start with the person who will use the laptop: the software they run, what it needs to connect to, and whether it stays on a desk or travels with them. Then we recommend a model.
Most of what we supply is Dell and Apple, with Lenovo where it suits. We have set up enough of them since 2017 to know which models still feel quick in year three and which come back with tired batteries, and we will tell you which is which. Every unit carries the full manufacturer warranty.
Some clients have their own IT team and just want the machines. Others want them ready to hand to staff, so we can set each one up with your standard software, asset-tag it and add it to your equipment register before it arrives. You choose.
Leases start from 12 months, with laptops from RM 99 per unit per month and support included throughout. You can also buy outright and get the same service. Servers, storage and firewalls are quoted separately.
| Lease | Per unit / month |
|---|---|
| Laptops | fr. RM 99 |
| Desktops | fr. RM 93 |
| Workstations | fr. RM 118 |
| Tablets | fr. RM 79 |

fiber
Cat6 & fiber
Computers and switches are replaced every few years. The cables in your walls and ceilings stay for much longer, and they are disruptive and costly to redo, so it pays to install them properly the first time.
We install Cat6 and Cat6A cabling to recognised structured cabling practice: kept apart from electrical cables, neatly routed, terminated at patch panels and clearly labelled, so anyone who opens the cabinet later can follow it.
For links between floors, buildings or sites, we install single-mode and multi-mode fiber, fusion spliced and tested with an OTDR.
Every cable run is tested. When we finish, you receive the test results and the as-built drawings to keep.
| Standard | Per link |
|---|---|
| Copper | Cat6 / Cat6A |
| Fiber | OS2 / OM4 |
| Fiber test | OTDR |
| Copper test | Permanent link |
| Labelling | Both ends |
| Records | As-built |
Most of the networks we build run on TP-Link Omada switches and access points, with a Palo Alto Networks firewall at the edge where the data matters. We set them up before they reach your office, with ports, power over Ethernet and uplinks sized to the people and devices on each floor.
Each device is labelled and documented, so another engineer can pick up where we left off.
Wi-Fi for a six-person meeting room and for an open floor of sixty are very different jobs. We decide where access points go from a site survey, rather than spacing them evenly down a corridor.
Channels, signal strength and roaming are planned together, and we check the coverage on site once everything is installed.

storage
host it
Rack servers and NAS or SAN storage, sized to the number of users, the software you run, how much data you keep and how long you can afford to be offline. You can lease them or buy them, the same as your other equipment.
On site, in your own server room, when speed or control over your data matters most.
Hybrid, with everyday data kept in the office for speed and a backup copy kept off site.
Co-location, with your own servers housed in a data centre that has proper power, cooling and connectivity.
| Hosting | Per workload |
|---|---|
| On site | Your rack |
| Hybrid | On + off |
| Co-location | Your gear |
| Capacity | Added |
| Handover | Documented |

GDT-04 Servers and storage
Getting the size right comes first.
Before we recommend a server, we ask who will use it, what software it runs, how much data you need to keep, and how long your business can manage if it goes down. The answers decide the hardware.
- Users and software
- Enough processing power, memory and licences for the people using it every day.
- Storage
- Capacity, RAID and snapshots planned together.
- Backups
- One copy in the office for quick restores, and one off site.
- Room to grow
- Space to add drives and memory later, instead of replacing the server.
Buy it outright, or lease it on the same terms as your laptops.
Talk to us about servers
One team to call
Our clients range from offices and clinics to shops and light industrial sites across the Klang Valley. What they have in common is that they would rather deal with one company for their hardware and their network.
Work often starts with one job and grows from there. A cabling project can lead to new laptops, and a laptop lease can lead to better Wi-Fi.
We also install CCTV and door access, often on networks we have already built.
Brands we know inside out
We keep to a short list on purpose. Knowing a few brands properly means we can set them up right the first time, fix them when they break, and tell you honestly which model fits.
- DellLatitude, OptiPlex, Precision and PowerEdge. With Apple, what we supply most.
- LenovoThinkPad and ThinkCentre, the machines staff ask to keep at renewal.
- AppleMacBook, iMac and iPad. We can enrol them in Apple Business Manager so they set themselves up.
- NVIDIARTX workstations for CAD, rendering and video, and GPU servers sized for AI and render work.
- LogitechMeeting-room video kits, webcams and headsets, and the keyboard and mouse that go out with every laptop.
- PanduitPatch panels, Cat6A and fiber parts, and the cable management that keeps a cabinet readable for years.
- TP-LinkOmada switches and Wi-Fi on one controller, with staff, guests and cameras on their own VLANs.
- Palo Alto NetworksFirewalls with rules written for your business, and GlobalProtect VPN for staff on the move.
- HikvisionCameras, recorders and door access, fitted by accredited installers and set up to alert, not just record.
